If you are a Kentucky Derby fan, “Mine that Bird” will ring a bell with you, if not, you may be wondering what “Mine that Bird” has to do with Cherish Our Children International.
“Mine That Bird” a spectacular gelding, won the 2009 Kentucky Derby, as a 50 to 1 long-shot (the second biggest upset in the Kentucky Derby’s history). Shortly thereafter trainer Chip Woolley with owners Mark Allen & Leonard Blach commissioned this incredible story to be written in a trilogy by Rod McCall & Price Hall. This inspiring trilogy is the perfect children’s graphic novel for the entire family and is certain to inspire parents & children around the world. The message of the books is for children to know “if they just try their best, they will prevail.”
