Location: Unincorporated area of Reynosa, Mexico across the USA/Mexico border at McAllen, Texas. Four schools are supported in the area.
La Nopalera: A canal community located on a flood levy across the USA/Mexico border at McAllen, Texas houses two of the schools:
- La Union (primary, K-6th grade and preparatory, 3 year post 8th grade)
- La Calichera (primary, K-6th grade)
Other parts of Reynosa house two schools; one on the east side and one on the west side:
- Ramon Perez (primary, K-6th grade)
- Unidad Esfuerzo (primary, K-6th grade)
Program Target: 350+ vulnerable children, 4-18 years (Hispanic ethnicity) unable to attend public school due to poverty and lack of affordable transportation.
