One day, a shy 15-year-old boy joined our No More Victims class. He was struggling to come to grips with the trauma of having both parents in prison. His name was Devon Wade and through No More Victims he blossomed into a leader and a PhD scholar at Columbia University. Then two years ago we lost Devon, the victim of a senseless murder.
The Wall Street Journal has just done a profile on Devon’s remarkable life and tragic death. We want to share it with you because it shows the incredible promise of No More Victims to change the lives of some of the most wounded children in our community.
